Vladimir Tarasenko and Ryan O'Reilly are in the final season of their contracts and can become unrestricted free agents after the season. O’Reilly wants to stay in St. Louis. The general manager Doug Armstrong is not concerned about Tar as he is worried about 2023-24.
The St. Louis Blues won one playoff series last season, against the Minnesota Wild. They lost to the Colorado Avalanche in the second round. O'Reilly believes they can improve on that and win the Stanley Cup.
