BetQL Five-Star Bet: Rockies ML vs. Nationals (-120)

Out of all the games today, we are headed to Colorado, where the Rockies will be at home to take on the Nationals. The BetQL model is absolutely loving the value tonight on the Rockies, and you can get them at a small price of just -120 at FanDuel. It’s a match between two bad teams at Coors Field, anything can happen, as we saw during Thursday's 1-0 Rockies win.

The Nationals are sending former Padres starter MacKenzie Gore to the mound. He was fantastic in his first start of the season against Atlanta, allowing one run on three hits and four walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings. He forced 13 swinging strikes, including seven on his fastball that topped out at 96.5 mph. We’ll see if he can do the same at Coors.

The Rockies will be sending Jose Urena to the hill. He was a total disaster in his first start, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks over 2.1 innings against the Padres. He struck out zero and threw just 40 of 71 pitches for strikes. Needless to say, he’s been bad for a while now. However, he gets a Nats lineup that was shut out yesterday.

Friday's top MLB player prop

Blue Jays SP Chris Bassitt O2.5 ER (-105) vs. Angels

The total for this game is sitting at nine runs right now, and the Blue Jays are the underdog in this game. That leads us to believe the Angels might put up some runs here on Bassitt. Once a very dependable starter for the Athletics and Mets, things have started to go downhill for the pitcher. In his first start of the season against the Cardinals, he allowed nine runs on 10 hits in just 3.1 innings, and he failed to strike out a single batter.

Bassitt also posted a 5.60 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 17.2 innings over five appearances during spring training this year. This looks like a great value, so take advantage.

MLB betting trends for Friday
