BetQL Five-Star Bet: Athletics @ Orioles UNDER 10 runs (-115, BetMGM)
For our free play of the day, the Baltimore Orioles will be taking on the visiting Oakland Athletics. The model is loving the total here, rating the under 10 as a five-star value. The A's are sending right-hander Adam Oller to the hill for this one. In 2022, he started 14 games for Oakland and struggled with a 6.30 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over 74.1 innings. So far this season, he has logged 9.2 innings with a 4.66 ERA and 1.32 WHIP, so it hasn't been too much better for him to start the 2023 season.
Baltimore is starting Cole Irvin, who gave up three runs on four hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in his last start against the Yankees. He's failed to last five innings in either of his first two starts and has fallen to a 9.35 ERA and 9-6 K-to-BB through 8.2 innings.

Detroit is sending right-hander Spencer Turnbull to the hill today to take on the Blue Jays in Toronto. It was in doubt whether or not he would get this start after apparently suffering a neck stinger in his last appearance, but he is expected to start today. In that last start, he yielded five earned runs on five hits and two walks with just a single strikeout while falling to 0-2 on the season. His velocity has been down after coming back from TJ surgery, and he has a massive 13.50 ERA in two starts.
