The bowl season starts on Dec. 16 and there are games almost every day. The games are great for betting and complement the NFL, NBA and college basketball. Here are the top five bowl games to bet on to close out 2022.
Troy is favored by two points in the Cure Bowl. Troy is 10-3 against the spread this season. UTSA owns a 7-6 ATS record.
The Holiday Bowl features North Carolina vs. Oregon. The game has the highest total at SI Sportsbook of any bowl game at 70.5 points. North Carolin games have cashed the over seven of 13 times, while Oregon has done so in 12 games.
Iowa and Kentucky are playing in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 31. The game has an over/under of 31 points. Kentucky games have gone under the total 11 out of 12 times this season. Iowa games go under in 8 out 8 of the last 12 games.
Michigan and TCU are playing in the Fiesta Bowl on December 31. Michigan is a 7.5-point favorite. Michigan has dominated opponents all season long but will be playing without star running back Blake Corum.
Georgia and Ohio State are playing in the Peach Bowl on December 31. Georgia is favored by 6.5 points. The game will be a clash of an elite offense against an Elite defense.
