Travers Stakes at Saratoga 2018: Post positions, odds, complete info

The field for the 2018 Travers Stakes is set, with 11 contenders expected to be loaded into the starting gate for the Mid-Summer Derby late Saturday afternoon at Saratoga.

Headlining the $1.25 million, Grade 1 fixture for 3-year-olds will be Good Magic, with the Chad Brown-trained runner installed as the 2-1 morning line favorite after his victory in the $1 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park last month.

Will the Graveyard of Champions claim another favorite?

The odds indicate the 149th renewal is a wide open affair, with Gronkowski as the second choice at 4-1, while Wonder Gadot is 5-1 as she looks to becme the first filly in 103 years to win the Travers. Trainer Bob Baffert, winner of the last two Travers, will not be shipping a horse from Southern California this year.

The Travers, the country's longest running major race, will be broadcast nationally on NBC, with coverage scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m.
