Tulalip opens sports betting at casinos
The Tulalip Tribes opened their two sports gambling venues on September 20. Randy Johnson and Steve Largent were guests at the grand opening. The venues are at Tula Resort Casino and Quil Ceda Creek Opening. DraftKings is helping to run the two operations. Sports betting has been allowed in Washington state for about a year. The tribal leaders testified in Olympia to get the legislative fix. Native tribes already had the structure for gambling regulation and oversight. They went to testify in the state legislature. People can bet on anything. It's interesting how many sports there are and on which bets they can place.
