It hasn’t been pretty, but Tulane keeps winning football games in the American Athletic Conference, and they keep moving up the Associated Press’ top 25 college football poll.

This week, despite winning by just two points over lowly Tulsa this past week – after scratching out a tight one with two-win East Carolina in their previous game – the Green Wave moved from 20th to 17th in the rankings and up to 9-1 and 6-0 in the AAC.

It won’t be nearly as easy this week against an FAU (4-6, 3-3) team that has just four wins, but has scored 38 points or more in three of their past five games.

The series goes back 55 years, but they didn’t start playing on a regular basis until 2005. Here, we share all the information with the lines, odds, TV information and the series history between them:

TULANE at FLORIDA ATLANTIC

When: Saturday at 11 a.m.

TV: ESPN+

Last week: Tulane defeated Tulsa, 24-22; FAU lost to East Carolina, 22-7.

Lines: Tulane -9.5 at Caesars Sportsbook. The money line was offline. (Line is as of late Monday morning on Caesars Sportsbook, which is the official odds partner of Bet.NOLA.com.)

Over / Under Total: 48.5

Most recent meeting: FAU won, 34-17, in Boca Raton, Fla., on Nov. 2, 2013, in the only meeting between the two teams.

Series record: In that only other game between the two, Owls quarterback Jaquez Johnson wasn’t very good throwing the football – 10-of-21 for 107 yards with an interception – but he rushed 20 times for 114 yards with two touchdowns.

Nick Montana was just 7-of-22 for 71 yards with three picks and was relieved by Devin Powell, who also was intercepted.

Interestingly, Tulane led 17-7 at halftime, but was outscored 27-0 following intermission.
