Coming off a big victory last week in the American Athletic Conference, No. 23 Tulane (5-1, 2-0) is a big favorite Saturday against North Texas (3-3, 1-1). Can the Green Wave avoid a letdown and remain one of the top non-Power 5 teams in the country?

Unlike most of the other opponents Tulane has, this is a very short series, as this will be just the second time the teams have ever faced off against one another and first in 10 years. We’ll share all the information here with the lines, odds, TV information and the series history between the two schools:

When: Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Where: Yulman Stadium, New Orleans

TV: ESPN2

Last week: Tulane defeated Memphis, 31-21; North Texas defeated Temple, 45-14.

Lines: Tulane -20 at Caesars Sportsbook. The Wave is -1400 on the money line, and North Texas is +800. (Line is as of late Monday morning on Caesars Sportsbook, which is the official odds partner of Bet.NOLA.com.)

Series record: This will be the second meeting between the two schools, and Tulane leads the series, 1-0. The Green Wave won the first meeting, 24-21, in the Superdome on Oct. 5, 2013.

Nick Montana finished 18-of-28 for 132 yards and a touchdown, while Orleans Darkwa led the Wave in rushing with 44 yards on 16 carries.

Tulane finished that season 7-6 with a 24-21 win over Louisiana-Lafayette in the New Orleans Bowl on Dec. 21.
