UCI Road World Championships: Leah Kirchmann making the most of final days of her career
Leah Kirchmann is at the UCI Road World Championships in Wollongong, Australia. The 32-year-old Canadian announced her retirement from racing late last month. She finished 17th in the time trial last Sunday. Kirhmann will race again Wednesday afternoon in mixed team relay before the road race on Saturday. Canada secured a quota of five riders for Saturday's race. The team has a mixture of youth and experience. It will have an underdog status among bigger nations.
