Edwards has 21 wins and three losses in his career at the age of 32 is just three years younger than Covington, but is taller with a longer reach which could be the big difference.

The Jamaican born fights out of Erdington, Birmingham and gives the Brits a great fighter to follow in the welterweight division.

While he can win by a knockout blow, most of his wins have come from going the distance against his opponents.

But his head kick to Kamaru Usman back in August 2022 saw him claim the Performance of the Night while winning the Welterweight Championship in Round 5 means he cannot be underestimated at any given point.

His three losses have come by way of disqualification and twice by decision, having never been knocked out or by submission.

In his rematch with Usman in March 2023, he won in London by unanimous decision, even with a point deduction for holding onto the fence of the Octagon.

Notably though, he hasn't lost since strangely enough facing Usman, back in 2015 and is on a streak of 11 bouts undefeated.

'Chaos' on the other hand, has won just four via knockout, four by submission and nine by decision from his 20 bouts.

The American fighter has lost once by each result - losing to, you guessed it, Usman in both November 2021 and December 2019.

Prior to that Covington had only lost to Warlley Alves via submission back in December 2015.

His unanimous decision victory over Jorge Masvidal earned the accolade of Fight of the Night in March 2022 and it's been a fairly long absence for the American since his last fight, but he could be back better than ever.
