I can’t resist chucking a few quid at PLEASANT MAN (3.45) in the Virgin Bet November Handicap.

He was useful for Roger Charlton but things didn’t click over hurdles after switching to Paul Nicholls.

His Musselburgh third behind Wise Eagle in April showed he is still capable on the Flat and he now makes his debut for Jack Jones.

Nicholls’ former pupil assistant has made a superb start to his training career and he could easily rejuvenate Pleasant Man. Have 1pt each-way at 33-1. Sky Bet are going five places.
