Verstappen trajectory set to eclipse Lewis Hamilton F1 records
Max Verstappen is on a trajectory to eclipse all of Lewis Hamilton's F1 records. The Dutch driver could claim the all time most race wins during an F 1 season this weekend in Mexico. If Ver stappens to win the remaining 3 races he will have a win percentage for 2022 of 72.7%, which would beat Michael Schumacher's 72% in 2004.
Verstappen has collected 33 race wins and 74 podiums by the age of 25. Hamilton had just 14 wins, 36 podium finishes and a win percentage of 33%. Verstapen is favourite to eclipse Hamilton's F1 records within 6 seasons.
Lewis Hamilton has won more races than Jim Clarke, Alberto Ascari and Juan Manuel Fangio.
