Chelsea will be looking to put an end to their winless Premier League run against Newcastle United when the two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Goals from Nicolas Jackson and Axel Disasi weren't enough to earn Chelsea three points in their last outing, with the Blues being held to a 2-2 draw against London rivals Brentford last weekend. The result left Mauricio Pochettino's side 11th in the Premier League, and if Chelsea fail to win on Monday, there's a possibility they could end the gameweek 12th in the table.

Chelsea are without a win against Newcastle in the Premier League in their last three games, with the most recent meeting ending in a 4-1 loss at St. James' Park. Pochettino has been handed more injury issues as well, with Ben Chilwell and Levi Colwill set to miss Monday's clash, while Conor Gallagher is a doubt.

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Chelsea could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Palmer, Mudryk, Sterling; Jackson.

It was a slow start from Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and they were made to pay for some sloppy play six minutes in when Alexander Isak broke through and slotted past Djordje Petrovic. After going behind, the Blues started to find some rhythm, and just before the break, they levelled the score.

Noni Madueke had a glorious chance to make it 2-2 in the 88th minute when a fantastic cross from Raheem Sterling found the winger at the back post, but he got underneath his shot as the ball flew over the bar. Chelsea were unable to find a second, meaning they fell to a fifth Premier League home defeat of the season.
