Weber State sets single-game FCS record for safeties with four botched punt attempts vs. Montana State
Weber State set a new record for number of safeties in a single game with four against Montana State. The safters were unforced and were caused by high snaps in punt formation. On one of the safter, the ball stopped in the end zone but the punter kicked it out of bounds. Weber State took a 24-9 lead in second quarter but Montana came back to take the lead.
