Week 13: Group of Five Best Bets
Last week I went 1-4 on my Group of Five best bets. This week, I'm back and hoping to win some bets on Thanksgiving weekend.
East Carolina is playing at Temple in the Group of Five this weekend. ECU is 6-5 in conference and Temple is 3-8 in league.
Fresno State is 7-4 and 6-1 in MWC. Wyoming is 5-2 and has lost three of its last four games by double digits. Jake Haener has been fantastic since returning for Fresno State.
Air Force and San Diego State are both run-heavy teams with elite defenses. The teams have scored less than 40 points in their last four games. SanDiego State doesn't possess much offensive firepower.
Texas State is 4-7 overall and 2-5 in the Sun Belt this season. They have a win over App State and narrow defeats against Troy, Southern Miss, and Louisiana Monroe. Louisiana is 5-6, 3-4 in SBC and has a subpar 1- 4 away record this year.
Georgia Southern has lost three games in a row. App State has struggled on the road, going 0-3 in Sun Belt games. Georgia Southern's quarterback Kyle Vantrease should find success against App state's defense.
