Another renowned player was on that list whom he praised with Judge to be the best young talent. Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez used to be the two most renowned names in the Yankees lineup. The former is the present captain of the team and has multiple achievements in his possession. The latter one left the team in 2021.

However, before things go this far, A-Rod praised these two young talents only by watching them perform on screen. He showered praises, saying, “two of the finest young hitters I’ve seen in a long time.”  These two youngsters did not even achieve anything remarkable till 2015; Judge was not even an official part of The Bronx Bombers, but A-Rod’s experienced eyes didn’t misjudge his capabilities.

The former Yankees Shortstop had a controversial career for the drug scandal.  He even survived the longest suspension period, but his eyes to identify talent were much better than the coaches and other authorities, as Bryan Hoch stated in the book, page number, 100, “Say what you will about Rodriguez’s tumultuous career, but he seemed to read the game at a different level between the white lines, picking up on trends and storylines quicker than his coaches, teammates, and the media.”

After watching the batting display of Yankees’ present captain, Sanchez, 3xMVP claimed, “You don’t see those type of young hitters come around very often.” He continued, “We’re lucky to have two of them.”

Rodriguez’s claim came true as this duo eventually became the strongest pillars of the New York Yankees, especially Aaron Judge. Within 7 years, he shifted from a rookie player to the captain of the team with 5xAll-Star awards in his possession. However, Sanchez’s shine seems pale beside Judge’s.

The Hall of Fame is a dream for most baseball players. It is the greatest honor a player who has contributed to the game can achieve. However, a few, like Barry Bonds, can be exceptional. Despite his incredible career, the 7xMVP was held back from entering the HoF because of the drug scandal. Even A-Rod missed the chance for the same reason.

Otherwise, if it comes to Aaron Judge, he will definitely be one of the strongest contenders, though he still has time to be eligible for the ballot. Players must have played 10 Seasons to be eligible to enter the HOF, and Judge still has 3 Seasons remaining.

Judge is an exceptional player, though he has only 1 MVP award in his possession, but fans expect him to be eligible for the HoF. However, whether he will be elected for it depends on the votes he receives.
