West Ham news as Super Computer makes Top Six prediction

An Opta Super Computer has predicted the final Premier League position of West Ham post their 2-1 win against Luton Town.

The Hammers are tipped to finish 6th or 7th this season but expected, after four gameweeks, to qualify for Europe.

They’re also likelier to finish in 4th than 10th which attributes to the tremendous start made by David Moyes’ side this season.

False dawn?

West Ham find themselves in a strange position they would not have expected themselves to be in.

They’re currently the only unbeaten team in the league along with defending champions Manchester City who have won all their games.

Despite losing Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca and not signing a new striker, they find themselves in the top two.

There’s a good chance that this is a false dawn but given how well they’ve started, finishing in the European spots cannot be written off.

The Supercomputer gives the Hammers a very good chance of doing exactly that and Moyes will certainly be targeting it as well.

The signings of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse have already proven to be game changers and there is plenty of excitement surrounding Mohammed Kudus.
