The Premier League's two lowest clubs in the table face off in what is effectively a relegation six-pointer with West Ham just a point ahead of basement boys Southampton

Both West Ham and Southampton will be wondering how they find themselves in the perilous position they are both in as the relegation battlers head into their bottom of the table clash.

The Saints are rooted to the foot of the table just a point behind the Hammers, though having played a game more, with time running out for both teams to claw their way out of the drop zone.

This clash is simply a must-not-lose affair for either side, while Southampton can ill-afford to not collect all three points against a relegation rival with just 10 games of their season remaining.

With all to play for, here's all you need to know about the match.

When is West Ham vs Southampton?

The two sides will meet in the Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Sunday April 2 with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.

David Moyes' Hammers come into the clash off the back of a 4-0 win in Europe prior to the international break, with their last Premier League win coming by the same scoreline against Nottingham Forest at the end of February.

Meanwhile Southampton have showed glimmering signs of a potential revival under Ruben Selles, holding Tottenham to a 3-3 draw last time out thanks to a late comeback.

The two sides shared the spoils in their last encounter back in October, with Declan Rice's goal cancelling out Romain Perraud's opener at St. Mary's.

What channel is it on?

The match itself will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, though pre-match coverage will only be available via the latter from 1pm. Subscribers can also stream the match via the Sky Go app.
