What’s In Store in 2023 For Cox Plate Hero Anamoe?

Anamoe had a great season, taking four consecutive Group 1 victories. He won the WS Cox Plate on 22 October. Godolphin's plans for Anamo in 2023 are unknown. They could stay in Australia and try to win the Autumn Carnivals or go abroad to plunder the spoils in Dubai and Europe.

Anamoe had a great season in the spring. He won four consecutive Group 1 races and the WS Cox Plate. Godolphin will decide in 2023 whether to keep him in Australia and try to win the Autumn Carnivals or go abroad to Dubai and Europe.  

Anamoe is a Cox Plate Hero. He is expected to make his seasonal bow in the Canterbury Stakes in March at Randwick. There is talk of a possible challenge for the Queen Elizabeth Stake on 8 April. Anamo had a poor run in that race in 2022.

Nature Strip won the King's Stand Stakes at Ascot in June. Godolphin and Cummings are considering taking Anamoe to Europe in 2022. Verry Elleegant's European experiment in 2021 didn't go well. Anami could be a success in 2023. He could also be an embarrassment for God Dolphin.
