Bowl season is complicated and hard work for bettors. The sport has added the transfer portal and draft status caution to the equation. Betting bowl games successfully is perhaps more difficult than it has ever been. The bowl season features greater market volatility than the regular season. It's a soft market. Cincinnati Bearcats are playing in the Fenway Bowl against Louisville Cardinals. Both teams will turn to interim head coaches and backup quarterbacks.

No. 14 Oregon State Beavers are playing in Las Vegas Bowl against Florida Gators. Florida will be without at least 20 scholarship players, including star quarterback Anthony Richardson. Jack Miller III will start for Florida.

Washington State Cougars lost their offensive coordinators. The receivers coach will call pass plays and the offensive line coach handles run plays. Fresno State has won eight straight games.

BYU Cougars are playing in New Mexico Bowl. BYU's quarterback is doubtful and the rest of the depth chart is hampered by injury and transfer portal. SMU will have regular quarterback Tanner Mordecai, but he will be without his top wideout.
