Ohio State is currently ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Buckeyes are playing against Michigan on Sunday, December 4. Ohio State and Tennessee would be great opponents for a championship game. Tennessee is one of four undefeated teams left in a playoff. If TCU loses a game in next two weeks, Tennessee will drop to No 4, but if it wins, it will move up one spot. USC could make a strong case if they win the Pac-12 championship. If they do not, a team with one loss will be the No 3 seed. It is unlikely that the loser of OSU-Michigan will eke in.

Matt likes the idea of an old-school Pac-12/Big Ten Rose Bowl. The Trojans are tied for the sixth-best odds to make the CFP with Clemson at +450. Jami votes for Tennessee. Matt votes USC. The game will be played on New Year's Eve. It will take place in Pasadena. They will play each other after next season. Their defense is ranked 88th in the nation. USC's offense is third. Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, TTUN, and TCU are the other teams with better odds.
