India at home on big stage

India were the dominant side in the group stage, winning all nine of their games, and are the odds-on favourites at 10/11 to win the tournament.

That perfect group stage included a four-wicket victory over New Zealand, their semi-final opponents on Wednesday.

The Black Caps, who lost in the 2019 final to England, are 7/1 to go one better this time around after progressing from the group stage in fourth place on net run rate.

Australia, the second favourites at 10/3 to win the tournament, take on South Africa who are 4/1 to win the competition for the first time, in the other semi-final.

The two sides had identical records in the group stages with seven wins from nine but it was South Africa who came out on top in their group stage meetings.

South Africa are the underdogs as they have struggled to chase targets when batting second and Australia have won seven on the trot going into the semi-finals.
