WWE Payback 2023 date, start time, odds, PPV schedule & card for WWE event

As we near the end of 2023, WWE stars still need to air grievances, and the perfect setting to take out their anger is at WWE Payback on September 2. The event takes place at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and airs on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network in other territories.

One of the main feuds heading into the event is Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus. In a fight that matched past and present, Stratus defeated Lynch at Night of Champions. Another bout between the pair was delayed after Stratus sustained a broken nose. But following multiple matches that ended in DQ and count-out, and a nixed bout at SummerSlam, the two finally agreed to fight to take part in a steel cage match at Payback.

Also on the card, Seth "Freakin" Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Title against Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura turned heel on Rollins on an episode of Raw and proceeded to act in a heelish manner similar to his run in New Japan Pro Wrestling. As has been reported, Rollins comes into the match with an injured back.

And finally, Rhea Ripley defends the Women's World Title against Raquel Rodriguez, who wants to avenge a Ripley attack on partner Liv Morgan and friend Natalya.

Here's all you need to know about Payback, from time, channel, updated betting odds, card, and more.
