The Yankees look to remain relevant in the AL Wild Card race when they host the Astros Friday night, while the disappointing Mets try to stop a three-game skid when they visit Camden Yards to tangle with the AL East-leading Orioles.

Let’s kick off your Friday with a triumvirate of props, featuring Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton for the Yankees and Pete Alonso for the Mets.

You can also review the New York Yankees odds for tonight’s game, and today’s Mets game odds as well.

Judge has now had six games to knock rust off at the plate following his long absence due to a toe injury.

The slugger has only one home run over the 25 plate appearances he’s logged in that span, way off the pace of the one homer every 11.2 plate appearances he was keeping before his stint on the IL.

Judge is facing young Hunter Brown to open the game Friday, and the right-hander has had trouble keeping the ball in the park thus far in his brief career.

Brown has surrendered four homers in his last three starts, and he’s given up 13 overall, including seven to right-handed hitters.

Judge has 126 total bases in just 54 games, so the history is certainly on the side of him achieving the first prop listed.

In the wake of Stanton hitting homers in back-to-back games – and three over his last six contests – there’s a temptation to bet the Over on various props involving him.

Nevertheless, I’m going in the opposite direction, considering how poor the veteran slugger has been at the plate overall this season. Stanton is still carrying an anemic .204/.276/.458 slash line, with all three figures qualifying as career lows.

Stanton has shown more life at the plate of late, but he’s striking out 24.3 percent of the time and has just a .193 average at Yankee Stadium this season.

With New York also sporting a relatively modest 4.3-run projected total, it certainly wouldn’t be inconceivable for Stanton to hit this prop, which he’s done on several occasions, especially when playing at home.

Alonso does his best work on the road by far, where he owns a .938 OPS and 19 of his 31 homers. The slugger also checks in swinging a hot bat, sporting a 1.129 OPS and having knocked in 14 runs over his last 12 games.

The Mets carry an unremarkable 4.2-run projected total for Friday, but Alonso can naturally cash this prop without needing anyone else to be on base, given his massive power.

Additionally, Alonso has been locked in with men on base lately, hitting .346 in that split over the aforementioned 12-game sample and .417 with runners in scoring position.

Finally, there’s also the matter of Orioles starter Dean Kremer being more hittable at Camden Yards, where he’s conceded a 5.51 ERA and a 2.0 HR/9 across 63.2 innings.
