“There’s a ton of talent. Gotta be some of the most talented arms I”ve ever played with. Probably the only thing that rivals that was in 2018 (with the Oakland A’s) when it was [Blake] Treinen, myself, [Jeurys] Familia, the list goes on and on. But there is a ton of talent here. You’ve got [Clay] Holmes who is up to 102 and 23 inches of run or something stupid. It’s a very very talented bullpen, and on top of that, a very talented starting rotation. I think we’re going to be really dangerous for the MLB and I think we’re going to make some waves.”

In 62 game appearances last season, Holmes put up a 2.54 ERA and recorded 20 saves. The 29-year-old struck out 65 in 63 2/3 innings of work.

Spring training for Yankees pitchers and catchers begins Feb. 16. According to NJ Advance Media’s Randy Miller, the Yankees are expected to begin the season with an eight-man bullpen on their 26-man roster.
