Giants vs. Cowboys prediction: NFL Week 10 picks, odds, best bets

The Giants came off a promising 2022 season in which they reached the divisional round of the playoffs.

This season has turned into an unmitigated disaster after nine games, at 2-7 and sitting at the bottom of the NFC East.

It all began with a 40-0 home loss in the rain in the season opener to the Cowboys and went downhill from there.

The Giants get another shot at their division rivals Sunday afternoon in Texas, but this time as a hefty 17.5-point underdog.

Quarterback Daniel Jones tore his ACL in last week’s 30-6 road loss to the Raiders, marking the seventh time that the Giants have been held to fewer than 14 points this season.

Dallas looks to bounce back after falling at Philadelphia last week, 28-23, dropping them to 5-3 on the season.

The Cowboys own a perfect 3-0 home record, and each victory has come by 20 or more points.

With Jones sidelined, the Giants turn to Tommy DeVito at quarterback, who threw for 175 yards and a TD last week.

It’s easy to think that the Giants will get blown out in this spot, seeing how poor the offense has performed and how Dallas handled them in the first meeting.

However, this is the most points Dallas has laid all season long, and it lost outright at Arizona as 11-point favorites in Week 3.

The Giants’ offense can’t really move the ball, but the defense went through a nice three-week stretch of allowing 34 total points before giving up 30 to Las Vegas.

This is too many points to lay with Dallas, despite the Giants’ struggles.
