Jaguars vs. Bills: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

The Jacksonville Jaguars play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.

The game starts at 9:30 a.m. ET and can be seen on NFL Network nationally and WFOX locally in Jacksonville.

For the Jaguars, it’s a chance to get back above .500 after a win in London last weekend. Despite a sluggish start to the year, Jacksonville is 2-2 and deadlocked with every other team in the AFC South.

Standing in their way Sunday are the Bills, who are rolling with tons of momentum. Buffalo won its last three games by a combined 90 points and now rank second in the NFL in both scoring and points allowed.

  • Point spread: Bills -5.5
  • Money line: Jaguars +200 / Bills -250
  • Over-under: 48.5

Jaguars at Bills injury report:

Jacksonville listed four players as questionable, including wide receivers Zay Jones and Jamal Agnew, in its final injury report. All four of those players are expected to play Sunday, though. The Jaguars ruled out another four, including pass rusher Dawuane Smoot who is working his way back from the PUP list.

The Bills will be without defensive lineman Gregory Rousseau, but are likely to get veteran pass rusher Von Miller back. The eight-time Pro Bowler said there’s a “94.5 percent chance” he’ll play Sunday.

Advice and prediction

In lieu of betting on the final result, the better move is to pick Jaguars rushing props. With the return of Cam Robinson up front, Travis Etienne Jr. should be able to hit the over on his 64.5 rushing yard total against a Bills team that’s dead-last in rushing yards allowed per attempt. A Tank Bigsby anytime touchdown also has strong value at +280.

As for the game itself, the Bills seem to have too much firepower for a Jaguars team that is talented but hasn’t found its footing yet.

Prediction: Bills 37, Jaguars 27
