Moores have another nice youngster on their hands with Hansard. Hansards won the 2m novice hurdle.

Hansard won his debut over jumps in an intriguing 2m novice hurdle at Huntingdon. Authorised Speed won at Sandown on Saturday. Spirit D'Aunou won the opening 2 m junior hurdle. Hansard is a bumper winner for Charles Byrnes and was bought by Noel Fehily Racing Syndicate for £48,000 in April.

Poker Master has won four times in five starts at Huntingdon. Trainer Charlie McBride has been ill in Antigua for a week and is hoping to be back home this week. He was on the phone to his son Sean, who was giving him the commentary on Poker Master's victory. Ian Pattle, owner of the horse, believes PokerMaster is starting to repay his trainer's belief.

Great D'Ange won the 2m7½f handicap chase. Great D's Ange had fallen on two of his five previous runs over fences. Tom George has been having a good run of things in France. George celebrated Grade 1 success in the country with Il Est Francais last weekend.
