With training camp underway this week, let’s look at 2023 Chicago Bears odds leading into the 2023 NFL season.

Below are the Chicago Bears futures odds, including best bets for the Bears and a Justin Fields prop.

Chicago Bears best bets: Expert picks for 2023 NFL futures odds

The Chicago Bears finished an NFL-worst 3-14 in the 2022 NFL season, but there’s hope for a quick turnaround in Year 2 under general manager Ryan Poles. The Bears landed a haul for the No. 1 NFL Draft pick as they continue to build around third-year quarterback Justin Fields.

2023 Chicago Bears odds: To win NFC North (+380 or better)

The Bears are third in the 2023 NFC North odds behind the favored Detroit Lions and defending division champion Minnesota Vikings.

While the Bears went 0-6 against NFC North opponents last season, there’s hope they can turn the tide in 2023 after massive offseason investments.

The Lions haven’t won a division title since 1993. And the Vikings, coming off a 13-4 season, let go of a number of key veterans this offseason, including star tailback Dalvin Cook. The Packers are turning to first-year starter Jordan Love at QB after an 8-9 season in Aaron Rodgers’ final year in Green Bay.

Meanwhile, the Bears added a true No. 1 weapon for Fields in receiver D.J. Moore from Carolina. They also made key upgrades on the offensive line, highlighted by first-round selection Darnell Wright. Chicago also beefed up its linebacking core with a splash signing of Tremaine Edmunds.

Have the Bears done enough this offseason to be considered contenders in a muddled division?

Considering the 2023 Chicago Bears odds, it’s worth the bet to find out if they can win the NFC North for the first time since 2010.

Justin Fields odds: Over 6.5 regular season rushing touchdowns (-115 or better)

The Bears will likely try to dial down Fields’ rushing attempts in 2023 after he became just the third NFL QB to surpass 1,000 yards rushing a season ago.

However, with running back David Montgomery now in Detroit, the Bears lack a proven red zone scorer in the backfield behind him. Fields (8 rushing TDs in 2022 in 15 games) is also a threat to score with his legs from anywhere on the field, with TD runs of 67, 61 and 56 yards last season.

Fields tied an NFL QB record with a rushing TD in six straight games in 2022.

Looking for an obvious Chicago Bears best bet? Take the over on 6.5 rushing touchdowns in this Justin Fields prop.

2023 NFL futures odds: D.J. Moore over 875.5 receiving yards (-115 or better)

Moore is expected to ignite a dormant passing game in his first season in Chicago. Despite poor quarterback play in Carolina, Moore has hit 1,000 yards receiving in three of the last four seasons.

For Moore to hit the over in 2023, the Bears will need an uptick in their league-low 377 passing attempts last season.

We’re figuring that number goes way up with Fields’ continued development as a passer along with better protection and weapons around him. Fields and Moore are reportedly showing great chemistry during offseason workouts.

We believe it’s a sensible NFL futures bet to take the over on Moore’s regular season receiving yards prop in 2023.
