2024-25 College Football Playoff odds: Georgia, Alabama favorites to win

We haven’t even played the 2023-24 College Football Playoff national championship game between Michigan and Washington yet, but sportsbooks have already released odds for next year’s national champion.

Circa Sports released the odds on Friday afternoon, with Alabama and Georgia as +500 co-favorites. Texas (+700), Michigan (+850) and Ohio State (+950) had the next-best odds and were the only other teams with single-digit odds. Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard announced this week that he would be transferring to Ohio State.

FanDuel Sportsbook also released 2024-25 title odds later on Friday with Georgia (+350) as the standalone favorite, followed by Alabama (+550) and Ohio State (+800). The Bulldogs have won 30 of their past 31 games and two of the past three national championships.

Washington, which will lose QB Michael Penix Jr. and others after this season, was listed with 50-1 odds at both FanDuel and Circa Sports.

Army, Air Force, James Madison and UConn were among the 53 teams listed with +990000 odds to win the 2024-25 title.
