2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds, predictions: Picks and best bets for this week's PGA Tour event from a golf expert

The PGA Tour rolls through storied Pebble Beach Golf Links this week for the second signature event of the 2024 season: the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am beginning Thursday in Monterrey, Calif. With its elevation to a signature event this year, the tournament has attracted a star-studded, 80-player field, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, four-time major winner Rory McIlroy and reigning FedEx Cup champion Viktor Hovland. McIlroy is the favorite in the latest Pebble Beach odds (+750). Scheffler (+850), Xander Schauffele (+1200) and Hovland (+1200) round out the top four choices in the Pebble Beach field.

Before locking in any Pebble Beach picks, make sure you see the PGA Tour predictions and best bets from golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad.

Nejad specializes in betting and DFS in golf, among other sports. He's had incredible success in the outright and first-round leader markets and in betting head-to-head matchups. He also has been on fire with his head-to-head matchups since last year's Charles Schwab Challenge, going 28-15-1 and returning 10.41 units over that span. That's a $1,041 profit for $100 bettors since May 2023.

Nejad also nailed 75-1 longshot Wyndham Clark as the outright winner at the Wells Fargo Championship. In 2023, SportsLine debuted "The Early Wedge," and in the first three months of the show, he hit two first-round leaders and three outright winners.

Now, Nejad has been digging into the 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am field to find the best value and just locked in his best bets and favorites to avoid.

One surprise: Nejad is completely fading Scottie Scheffler (+850). However, Nejad is high on the chances of Justin Thomas (+2500). "Thomas continued to gain strokes in a big way on approach, around the green and putting at The American Express, and I think the outright odds have not caught up to his outright potential," Nejad told SportsLine.

Moreover, Nejad is jumping on several underdogs, including one longshot who's priced at more than 75-1. This player is a "proven winner" and is a longshot who could surprise. If he does, you could cash in HUGE. You need to see who it is before locking in any 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks of your own.
