  • QB Conner Weigman (Out, foot)
  • TE Donovan Green (Out, ACL)
  • DB Jardin Gilbert (Out, shoulder)

Ole Miss

  • WR Qua Davis (Out, undisclosed)

Best Bet and Prediction:

The spread has jumped from -4.5 to – 3.0, still favoring Ole Miss, but let’s be honest, much of that movement has to do with the Aggies’ 7th-ranked defense, leading the country in sacks (33). At the same time, junior star linebacker Edgerrin Cooper has played his way into the conversation as a potential future NFL lottery pick.

However, Texas A&M’s anemic offensive line, which, per Pro Football Focus, has allowed a country-leading 31 QB hits while tied for sixth in pressures allowed (103), costing the Aggies two out of their three losses on the season, meaning that quarterback Max Johnson will likely need to perform at his highest level against an Ole Miss pass rush that has already amassed 30 sacks on the season. Either way, this will likely be a close, frustrating (for one team at least) battle.

Prediction: Ole Miss 24, Texas A&M 20
