Alabama vs. Michigan CFP semifinal player props, odds, picks: Milroe to rack up yards in Rose Bowl

Rushing, receiving and passing player props & odds for Alabama vs. Michigan

Player passing props for Alabama vs. Michigan

DraftKings only offered passing props for Alabama QB Jalen Milroe. 

• Jalen Milroe 193.5 passing yards (OVER: -125, UNDER -105)
• Jalen Milroe 1.5 passing TDs (OVER: +125, UNDER -170)

Michigan's defense is second in the nation in passing yards allowed with only 152.6 per game. Milroe averages 226.5 passing yards, so something has to give in this matchup.

In the 27-24 win over Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, Milroe threw just below this passing yard total with 192. He's gone OVER 193.5 passing yards in 10 of 12 games this year. Milroe was benched in Week 3 and did not play against USF.

Keep in mind that Ohio State QB Kyle McCord lit Michigan up for 271 yards and two TDs in a 30-24 loss. 

How about Milroe's total passing TDs against the Wolverines? Michigan has allowed just seven passing TDs all season. We're much more enthused about his first prop.

Player rushing props for Alabama vs. Michigan

Here are two player rushing props for Crimson Tide vs. Wolverines at DraftKings. 

• Donovan Edwards 30.5 rushing yards (OVER: -115, UNDER -115)
• Jalen Milroe 33.5 rushing yards (OVER: -115, UNDER -115)

Edwards plays second fiddle to Blake Corum in Michigan's backfield, and he's averaging just 29.4 rushing yards per game. That said, he covered this number in six of 12 regular season games before getting held to 28 in the Big Ten Championship win over Iowa.  

Milroe averages 39 ypg, but he's capable of going OVER 33.5 yards in one play. He did just that in wins over Auburn and Mississippi State. Milroe outshined Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels with 155 rushing yards and four TDs in Alabama's win over LSU.

Bets to consider: Donovan Edwards UNDER 30.5 yards, Jalen Milroe OVER 33.5 rushing yards 

Player receiving props for Alabama vs. Michigan

Let's take a look at receiving props for the top WRs on Alabama and Michigan, respectively.

• Jermaine Burton 49.5 receiving yards (OVER: -115, UNDER -115)
• Roman Wilson 39.5 receiving yards (OVER: -115, UNDER -115) 

Burton leads Alabama with 777 receiving yards and eight TD catches. He missed two games due to injury and illness and averaged 70.6 ypg. The difficulty here is figuring out how much target volume fellow WR Isaiah Bond will see against Michigan. Bond actually leads the Crimson Tide with 44 catches compared to 35 for Burton.

Bond had five catches for a team-high 79 yards in the win over Georgia. Burton was held to two catches for 28 yards and a TD.   

Wilson's production tailed off toward the end of the year for Michigan, which is a run-heavy team anyway. He has just 73 combined receiving yards in his last three games. Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy was held to less than 150 passing yards in those contests against Iowa, Ohio State, and Maryland. While he averaged 55.1 receiving yards this season, Wilson is worth fading here.
