Amadou Onana future, Wesley proposal, Jarrad Branthwaite reaction

Hello and welcome to the ECHO's Everton FC live blog for Friday, October 13.

First things first, Amadou Onana didn't exactly provide any comfort to Everton supporters with his latest stance on leaving the club. Asked whether he would see out the remainder of the season at Goodison Park, he replied that he 'doesn't have a crystal ball'.

On the other hand, the club are said to have sent a proposal to Brazilian club Corinthians with an interest in signing starlet Wesley. The young forward broke into the club's first team this year and is being linked with a move to Europe, and the Blues are reported as interested.

Away from the transfer rumour mill, Jarrad Branthwaite was handed a start for England Under-21s at left back. The Young Lions heavily defeated Serbia at Nottingham's City Ground with the Everton man getting a 76-minute run-out.

Finally, the Blues' proposed takeover is ongoing. The ECHO will bring all of the latest details that emerge surrounding 777 Partners' deal with Farhad Moshiri.

"I think Seamus is up there"

Former Everton player Richard Dunne has hailed Seamus Coleman as one of the country's best.

Speaking to BoyleSports, who offer the latestPremier League betting & odds markets, he said: "Seamus Coleman has been brilliant and he's right up there with the very best.

"Ireland's 2002 World Cup squad had Gary Kelly, Steve Finnan, and Stephan Carr as the right-backs! They were all top players, and I think Seamus is up there.

"People will always put him in that bracket. He's been a player who has galvanized Everton at times and brought them together. Seamus has been outstanding for club and country."

Amadou Onana responds to Everton future question with 'crystal ball' claim

Amadou Onana's latest comments don't exactly inspire confidence, but he does at least reassure of his commitment to Everton's task at hand.

Despite maintaining his commitment to the cause, the midfielder spoke of his joy to play with 'high quality players' in the Belgian national team and the 'change in atmosphere' from Goodison Park.

Finally when asked about his future at the club, he replied: "I don't have a crystal ball."
