Pick

The Angels were able to get great pitching from their staff on Sunday to hold Houston to only one run and avoid the sweep. Texas was going for the sweep against the Giants, but they lost in extra innings after having a comeback in the ninth inning. Texas is starting Max Scherzer, who has allowed four earned runs over 13 innings for the Rangers this season. LA is starting Patrick Sandoval, who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in five consecutive starts. The Angels desperately need this series win and it starts with Game 1. Sandoval has pitched very well in his last few starts, but he is going up against Scherzer. I think we are going to see a pitching duel in this game and I like the under.
