Are Sportsbooks Refunding Bets on Nick Chubb Player Props?

Another Monday Night Football game, another devastating injury. This time, it was Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb who left the game with a knee injury that looked so bad that the ABC broadcast wouldn’t even show the replay. When they showed the replay at Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers’ home crowd sounded like they were in disbelief.

Early reports surrounding the injury aren’t positive, as it appeared to be really serious. as expected, he was officially ruled out minutes later. We’re hoping for the best, however, and wish for Chubb to have a speedy recovery.

Chubb suffered his injury with 14:26 remaining in the second quarter. Before his injury, he was on pace for a big game, already having ten carries for 64 yards against a depleted Steelers front seven.

Given how talented of a player he is, and with the Browns as short road favorites, Chubb’s rushing yards prop was a very popular bet tonight. His yardage prop closed at 83.5 prior to kickoff, falling just 20 yards short of hitting the over before he was carted off the field.

Are Sportsbooks Refunding Nick Chubb Player Props?

If you took the over on a Chubb player prop tonight, you’re probably wondering if you will get a refund. So far, DraftKings Sportsbook announced they will be refunding bets where Chubb and Jamaal Williams (who left the other game tonight with an injury) were the only losing selections.

DraftKings was one of the only couple of sportsbooks last Monday night to refund bettors after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles early in the game. At the moment, no other sportsbooks have reported refunds for Chubb bettors.

We will continue to monitor this on Twitter throughout the evening. Stay tuned for updates, which we will be providing them as soon as we hear of anything on social media.
