Bengals vs. 49ers NFL Player Props, Odds

The 5-2 San Francisco 49ers host the 3-3 Cincinnati Bengals as we make our best Bengals vs. 49ers NFL player props for Week 8 based on the best NFL odds.

The Cincinnati Bengals have won two games in a row, but the offense is still not the consistent unit we saw a year ago. One week after putting up 380 yards against the Arizona Cardinals, they put up just 214 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The San Francisco 49ers have lost back-to-back games, and they could be without Brock Purdy this weekend. If Purdy cannot play, then the 49ers will start Sam Darnold under center.

To accompany our NFL Week 8 predictions and NFL best bets, here are our best Bengals vs. 49ers NFL player props for Week 8 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bengals vs. 49ers NFL player props: Week 8

Joe Mixon Over 52.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

The Bengals are averaging just 69.8 rushing yards per game, the second-lowest total of any team in the NFL. Meanwhile, the 49ers allow just 79.3 yards per game on the ground, the third-best mark in the league.

Yet, we’re going with Mixon’s Over prop anyway. The 49ers’ success against the run has been largely due to teams simply not rushing the ball much against them. Opposing teams are averaging just 20.3 rushing attempts per game, mainly because the 49ers always have a high margin of victory.

With Purdy’s status unknown and with how the 49ers have been playing, the Bengals should have more opportunities to run this week. And even if they don’t run that much, Mixon should still beat this number. He’s run the ball fewer than 20 times in all but one of his games this year, but he’s still managed to clear 53 yards in five of six contests.

Ja’Marr Chase anytime touchdown scorer (+137 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Each of wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase’s touchdowns this season came against the Cardinals in Week 5. While Chase has disappointed fantasy owners this year, he and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow look like they’ve started to figure things out in recent weeks. Chase has at least 73 receiving yards in each of his last four games, and he’s topped 100 twice.

The 49ers are only allowing one passing touchdown per game this season, but they did get burned twice by Minnesota Vikings rookie wideout Jordan Addison on Monday night. Chase is always a threat to score, even if his numbers don’t back that up this season. Getting this at +137 is a price too good to pass up.

Joe Burrow Over 0.5 interceptions (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

The 49ers have picked off their opponents' passes 11 times this season. To this point, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs is the only quarterback to escape a game against the 49ers without an interception.

Burrow enters his seventh contest of the season with four interceptions already. What makes the Over for this prop even more enticing is that those four interceptions have all come in separate games.

If the 49ers have a lead or keep this one close, then Burrow will need to throw the ball a lot, especially with how good the 49ers’ rushing defense is. That’s not good for Burrow, as any time he has thrown the ball 35 times or more this season, he has thrown an interception.
