Bengals vs. Steelers NFL Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions

The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers face off Saturday in a critical game for these AFC North rivals, and we have you covered with our Bengals vs. Steelers NFL player props for Week 16 based on the best NFL odds at the best sportsbooks.

The last time the Cincinnati Bengals faced their rival Pittsburgh Steelers, they sputtered to a 16-10 loss in the first start of Bengals QB Jake Browning's career. He's since won three straight games under center and has a chance for revenge this week as part of Saturday's NFL Week 16 doubleheader.

The Bengals haven't had any trouble moving the ball with their backup quarterback since that loss, scoring at least 27 points with 375-plus yards in all three of those wins. The same can't be said for the Steelers, who have dropped three straight since Steelers QB Kenny Pickett's injury in Week 13.

Along with our Bengals vs. Steelers prediction and Week 16 NFL player props and in addition to our NFL Week 16 predictions, here are our best Bengals vs. Steelers NFL player props for Week 16 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bengals vs. Steelers NFL player props: Week 16

Jake Browning Over 232.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

At this point, it's okay to admit that Browning might actually be good - or at least good enough to consistently put up numbers. There's value betting into that at the best sports betting siteswhile the market catches up.

Over the last three weeks, Browning leads all starters in passing yards (317.7 YPG), completion rate (76.7%), and PFF passing grade (90.4), and he ranks behind only NFL MVP odds favorite Brock Purdy in yards per attempt (9.3). He's thrown for at least 275 yards in all three games, and his 103 total attempts rank are tied for eighth-most in that stretch.

The Bengals have rebuilt this offense around Browning and clearly trust him to carry the torch for this team's still-hopeful NFL playoff odds. He showed that last Saturday against the Vikings, who entered that game as the league's best defense since Week 6 by most advanced metrics - and still ceded 324 passing yards to the QB they cut three times prior.

Revenge was a dish best served cold for Browning, who has a shot to deliver another course this week against the team that held him to 227 yards in his first career start back in Week 12. With this prop total dealing at 238.5 across four of our five best sportsbooks, we'll take the extra six yards of clearance on a bet that could cash by the third quarter.

Chase Brown Over 16.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Anyone with eyes can see that Brown has looked like Cincinnati's most explosive back since the rookie's role increased in Week 13. The Bengals will need him to keep up that torrid pace on Saturday, especially as a receiver.

Over the last two weeks, Brown has turned six receptions into a combined 102 yards - the second-most by any running back - and his PFF receiving grade (93.2) has been the highest of any player at any position. He turned heads with a 54-yard receiving TD in Week 14 and still cleared this total each of the last two weeks, even without that catch.

Now, with Ja'Marr Chase out, Brown's impact as a receiver is even more critical. Expect Browning to target the 5-9 scatback early and often against a Steelers defense allowing 8.6 yards per target against running backs since these teams met in Week 12 - the second-worst mark in the NFL.

This bet has seen some sharp action and climbed throughout the week, though FanDuel is still hanging a rogue 16.5, which is a full yard lower than the consensus total of 17.5 across our other best sports betting apps.

Our NFL betting expert Esten McLaren also highlighted Brown's electric upside with a +425 bet as part of his Week 16 anytime touchdown scorer predictions.

Najee Harris Over 47.5 rushing yards (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

My first instinct was to fade Steelers QB Mason Rudolph in this game, which is still a worthwhile angle, but his prop totals are too low for my liking. Instead, we'll back Harris to gash a reeling Bengals defense for the second time this season.

Back in Week 12, Harris turned 15 carries into a season-high 99 yards against Cincinnati, which has allowed the NFL's fifth-most rushing yards per game (128.3) and second-most per attempt (4.7). Almost all of that came before losing star nose tackle D.J. Reader (quad) for the season, prompting the team to scramble for his replacement on waivers ahead of this game.

So why is this a three-star play? Harris has rushed for just 62 yards on 2.6 YPC over the last two weeks, and he's hindered by uncertainty surrounding his role and the effectiveness of this offense behind its third-string QB, who hasn't started a game in two years.

That said, the switch to Rudolph should mean plenty of opportunity for Harris and running mate Jaylen Warren against this vulnerable Cincy front. It feels like one of them will rush for 50-plus yards on Saturday, and we'll bet on Harris breaking through against a familiar foe.
