Best NBA prop bets today for Jazz vs. Nuggets (Back this Jamal Murray prop)

The Denver Nuggets are off to a hot start in the 2023-24 season, dominating the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday to move to 3-0 on the season.

The team takes on another division opponent – the Utah Jazz – on Monday night, and this could be a great game to dive into some props on the Denver side.

Jamal Murray OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

I’m buying Jamal Murray here after he cleared this prop in each of his first two games but then just went 1-for-1 from 3 on Sunday.

Murray played 30 minutes in that game, but he didn’t need to force a ton of 3s since he shot 9-for-14 from the field.

However, in his first two games he showed his prowess from beyond the arc, shooting 7-for-14 and taking five and nine shots from deep in those games respectively.

With a little more volume on Monday, Murray should clear this prop – which is usually set around 3.5. I think it’s worth a buy low attempt for Jamal tonight.

Aaron Gordon UNDER 21.5 points, rebounds and assists

Aaron Gordon hasn’t stuffed the stat sheet as much as usual early on this season, posting PRA numbers of 14, 15 and 27.

His biggest showing did come against the Los Angeles Lakers to open the season, but with Denver heavily favored at home, I wonder how much Gordon will need to play on the second night of a back-to-back.

Gordon has taken just under 10 shots per game, but I’m more concerned about his rebounding (12 boards in three games) which he’ll need to hit the OVER.

If Denver gets up big like it did on Sunday, this is going to be tough for Gordon to hit.
