Bet on the Lions and get $200 in DraftKings bonuses

The Detroit Lions clinched a decisive victory over the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday and advanced to a strong 4-1 record. Now they travel to Tampa to take on the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 NFL action.

The Lions opened as narrow 3-point favorites across most sportsbooks. We’ve got a betting analysis for the best bets to place this week. But first, let’s talk sportsbooks and bonuses.

Football season is the perfect season to try out new sportsbooks if you haven’t branched out yet. You can compare odds to get the best bang for your buck and get more familiar with players through different prop bets, game lines and more.

It’s also the perfect time to leverage sportsbook welcome bonuses. This week, we have a DraftKings promo for new customers that gives you $200 in bonus bets guaranteed.

Just use our exclusive DraftKings promo link to sign up and claim the DraftKings bonus. Their current welcome offer is a “Bet $5, get $200″ in bonus bets. That means after you sign up and make your first deposit, you should place a first-time bet of $5 on any sport. Once you place the bet, you’ll instantly get $200 in bonus credits that you can use to make more wagers.

The bet credits are good for seven days, and you can use them to bet on anything available on DraftKings Sportsbook.

But that’s not the only DraftKings bonus available right now. DraftKings Sportsbook offers all its customers a daily all-sport, no-sweat SGP bet. When you opt-in for this DraftKings bonus, you can apply a no-sweat token to any same-game parlay with three or more legs. If you lose, you’ll get back your bet back up to $10. You can do this every day.

A few other ongoing DraftKings promos include:

  • MLB 25% Profit Boost: Get a 25% value boost on any MLB bet
  • TNF Profit Boost: Get a 50% profit boost for any bet on the Broncos vs. Chiefs
  • Refer-a-Friend: Get up to 10 100% profit boosts when you refer a friend

DraftKings is one of the best sportsbooks with some of the best bonuses in the US. We rate them consistently highly among Michigan’s best betting sites.

The Lions are having an incredible season so far, despite a Week 2 loss to the Seahawks. Since that loss, they’ve won three consecutive games by a margin of two or more touchdowns. They’re dominating the NFC North and are one of the top teams in the conference.

This Sunday could be the toughest challenge they’ve faced in a few weeks, though, with the 3-1 Buccaneers coming off a bye and extra rest. But the Lions have shown they have what it takes to face a challenge.

The big question at hand is whether Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs will return for Sunday’s Week 6 matchup. Both St. Brown and Gibbs were out for the game against the Panthers – which didn’t seem to slow the Lions down at all. To be fair to Carolina, they experienced tough injuries as well.

Whether St. Brown and Gibbs can return for Sunday will likely impact not just the game but the odds.

Lions Coach Dan Campbell said on Tuesday morning that he’s hopeful St. Brown will be back on Sunday.

“I feel pretty good about the possibility of him playing this week,” Campbell said. “I think it’s certainly more than questionable, I think it’s closer to probably at this point.”

Gibbs is also expected to return.

In the meantime, the Lions’ other massive talents are out there doing their thing:

The Bucs have had a great start to their 2023 season with three wins. Their only loss came at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles – who have beaten every team they’ve played.

Tampa Bay is seeing a better Baker Mayfield this year, and the key question is whether he can stay consistent. Mayfield has notched 882 yards in their four games and has seven touchdowns and a QBR of 70.1, good enough for sixth in the league.
