Detroit’s 24-23 wild-card win over the Los Angeles Rams was the franchise’s first playoff victory in 32 years.

Now, coach Dan Campbell’s Lions (13-5) are looking to follow up with another as consensus 6.5-point (-285 moneyline) home favorites against the Bucs (10-8). The game total is hovering around 49 points.

These two teams played back in Week 6, and Detroit dominated in a 20-6 road win. Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw for 353 yards and two touchdowns while Tampa Bay QB Baker Mayfield suffered through one of his worst outings of the season, finishing with 206 yards and an interception as the Bucs were limited to a pair of field goals.

That loss was the first of six defeats in a seven-game midseason span for the Buccaneers.

But Mayfield and Co. have since flipped the script, winning six of their last seven, with the latest being last Monday night’s 32-9 wild-card rout of the defending NFC-champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The key matchup Sunday will pit Tampa’s healthier, blitz-happy defense against Goff and his potent Lions’ offense which ranks fifth in the league with an average of 29.8 points per game at home.

Detroit also will have its top two running backs, David Montgomery and rookie Jahmyr Gibbs healthy for the rematch as they were limited to a combined 18 offensive snaps and 33 total yards (all Montgomery) in the first meeting.

It’s tricky picking a point spread winner in this one as the Lions and Bucs are currently tied for the league’s best ATS record at 12-6 apiece.

But Detroit controlled the first meeting and now will have the huge advantage of playing in front of a stoked and hungry home sellout crowd.

The Bucs are an impressive 5-4/league-best 8-1 ATS on the road this season, but even with the win over the Eagles, they’ve still only won two of their seven matchups against playoff teams on the season.

It should be a reasonably close contest Sunday, but go with Detroit to cover laying less than a full touchdown.

Evans averaged 73.8 receiving yards per outing during the regular season.

But he’s coming off a rare off-night against Philly, catching only three of seven targets for 48 yards Monday thanks to a couple drops.

And with the Bucs likely needing to keep pace with the Lions’ potent offense, Evans will find a favorable matchup in the Detroit defense which, during the regular season, surrendered the third-most receiving yards (181.2 per game) to opposing wideouts.
