Bet365 go non-runner no bet for Cheltenham Festival’s Championship races

The build-up to the Cheltenham Festival is well and truly under way and Bet365 is promoting a standout offer for the March spectacular.

Commenting on the announcement, Bet365’s Pat Cooney said: “Typically, the market leaders in these races are the most popular choices and certainly the Constitution Hill, El Fabiolo and Galopin des Champs treble features heavily in multiple selections since going NRNB.

“Punters tend to also go for horses which have a Plan B. For example, connections of Bob Olinger would be reluctant to run in the Champion Hurdle, but if the main contenders became doubtful, if he ran, he would be an interesting runner.

“Dinoblue is probably going for the Mares Chase, but is owned by JP McManus, who of course owns Jonbon in the Champion Chase. If he became a non-runner,  then Dinoblue may well take her chances. We’ve seen money for her.”

“Both the Ryanair and Stayers Hurdle remain wide open, but the Gold Cup has seen plenty of NRNB interest with many thinking outside the box!

“For example, easy Welsh National winner Nassalam is 40/1 and unlikely to run unless heavy ground but, if it was on the day, he’d be a lot shorter in price.

“Aintree Grand National winner Corach Rambler at 25/1 is another proving popular. He’s three wins from three runs at Cheltenham. He’s another that would be shorter on the day.

“It’s always interesting to see where the money is, after going NRNB, and this year is no exception!”
