Rangers vs Celtic betting tips

There's always SO much on the line when Rangers and Celtic face up.

But there just feels like that little bit extra on the line for this particular meeting.

With Celtic having already collected the League Cup this year and one win away from securing another Premiership title, a win here would put them within touching distance of another incredible treble.

Not only that, a league and Scottish Cup win before the season is out would put them within ONE of Gers' 117 trophies -- putting their 'most successful club in football' tag in jeopardy.

Rangers beat Celtic at this stage in this competition last year, in a game that went to extra time.

But they haven't beaten their bitter rivals in 90 minutes in the last eight games, dating back to August 2021 at Ibrox.

Celtic have won three of the last four Old Firms, including a 3-2 win earlier this month.

With neither side managing to register a win last weekend, they could be forgiven for having one eye on this one which is set up to be a cracker.

Quick draw

Celtic's record in this fixture has been great in the past two years and there's a reason they're favourites to win here.

But this fixture has been drawn after 90 minutes in three of the last six games, with the Hoops winning by a solo goal on two of the other occasions.

This could be fierce and fiery with plenty of goals.

But it might also be pretty cautious and extra time is by no means out the question with so much on the line.

The man to Kyo-go to

He's got five goals in his last three Old Firm games and Kyogo will be the main Celtic threat again here.

In fact, he's scored a brace in successive Glasgow derbies, including the opener in both games.

He enjoys Hampden too, with doubles in the League Cup final against Gers and a brace against Hibs in the final the year earlier too.

At 4/1, that could be a generous price to open the scoring but we'll be a bit more conservative and back him anytime at 6/4.

Half and half

No, we're not referring to scarves, certainly not in this game!

But as we've said, this game could swing either way and goals are probably more likely to come than not.

Celtic have scored in both halves in each of their last four clashes between the sides and could start quickly here and add to their goals later in the game.
