Rangers vs Hearts preview

Rangers kept the feelgood factor rolling in the weekend win at Hibs - and cut the gap to Celtic down to single figures.

That 3-1 victory cut the champions' lead to just eight points in what is looking a more respectable gap at the summit.

Ianis Hagi struck an emotional goal after his long layoff, with club player of the year James Tavernier and fan favourite Todd Cantwell also on the scoresheet.

That was without Connor Goldson who is set to miss the next 10 weeks through injury.

There remains several playing for their Ibrox futures and in their final home game of the season, Michael Beale will want to give the club more 'oxygen' heading into the new season.

For Hearts, a big win over Aberdeen keeps their third spot finish alive with two games to go.

The Jambos are relying on favours elsewhere with the Dons to travel to Celtic Park on the final day but it is the start of a big week, with a home Edinburgh derby to finish on Saturday.

Hibs vs Celtic preview

Celtic go looking for their first win in three games when they travel across the M8 to face Hibs.

It's just two wins in their last five games for Ange Postecoglou's men who have dropped off significantly since winning the league.

They've still got a Scottish Cup final on the horizon and the Hoops boss will encourage them to fight for their place in that side in a couple of weeks time.

Callum McGregor struck a late equaliser in Saturday's 2-2 draw with St Mirren.

Celtic have won five of the last six meetings between the sides - a 0-0 draw the other result - including winning the last three with 13 goals scored.

Hibs are fresh off the back of a home defeat to Rangers.

That 3-1 defeat effectively takes them out the race for third but continue to chase rivals Hearts for fourth spot.

They'll need a stunning finish to the campaign to claw the four points back, however.

Rangers vs Hearts betting tips

Both teams to score.. NOT!

Rangers are riding the crest of a wave and that looks like it'll continue here.

A makeshift defence conceded late on on Sunday and will face a tougher set of attackers here.

But having conceded just ONCE to Hearts in the last seven meetings, they have their measure in that respect.

Todd can well do it

He's already the poster boy for next season's campaign and many supporters tipping him to lead a title charge next season.

But for now, Todd Cantwell has started his Gers career very well and scored in the last three games.

It's actually four goals in six games for him and the 21/10 for an anytime goal is very backable, but we'll opt for a bit more here.

Hibs vs Celtic betting tips

Before and after

It was a big blip in the defeat at Rangers and that was followed by another below par performance on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou won't want to make it a hat-trick and will be gunning for his players to be on it from the off.

As Rangers did just a few days ago, Celtic could rack up a couple of goals.

Hang your Hat on him

Reo Hatate hasn't quite hit the form of his pre-injury heights since his return but he's still a key man in the Hoops midfield.

Linked with several big clubs for this summer and will be keen to show why, even if not angling for a move away.

One of the first names on the teamsheet and should be here - one of the key reasons for the pick.
