Betway starting goalie bet of the day: Bet on Adin Hill to be busy as Dallas looks to force a game seven

Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!

Never underestimate the value of role players in the playoffs. Ty Dellendrea scored twice in a 1:27 span midway through the third period to ensure the Dallas Stars would force a game six and cut their series deficit to just 3-2.

Dallas is looking to become the first team since the 2014 LA Kings to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a playoff series, and Stars captain Jamie Benn is eligible to return to the Stars’ lineup for Monday’s game. Benn was suspended for two games for a crosscheck on Mark Stone in game three.

Adin Hill allowed four goals on 34 shots in a losing effort in game five. Despite the average night, Hill still has a dazzling .932 save% for the playoffs. Jake Oettinger made 27 saves on 29 shots and continues to be solid after being pulled in game three.

The Golden Knights will need more production from their captain Stone, who has scored only once in the series and has been held pointless in the Knights’ last three games.

Here is a goalie bet I like for tonight’s game.

Goalie Prop

Hill has been excellent for the Knights this postseason, and with the Stars’ season on the line again tonight expect another onslaught. Hill has made over 30 saves in every single game this series and I like that to continue.

Last Game Bet

Jake Oettinger to make over 27.5 saves at -110.

There are some days you just have a bad beat, and this was one of them. Oettinger ended the game with 27 saves, so we barely missed on the over and our record is now 12-10 in the playoffs.
