Betway starting goalie bet of the day: Bet on an easier workload for Adin Hill in game one against the Dallas Stars

The sixth longest game in NHL history took place Thursday night, and for some, it also took place on Friday morning, as Matthew Tkachuk finally ended it with 13 seconds to go in quadruple overtime. 

Both goalies were absolute brick walls for their respective teams. Freddie Andersen made 57 saves on 60 shots in a losing effort while Sergei Bobrovsky made 63 saves on 65 shots in the win for the Panthers. 

Brandon Montour led both teams in ice time, playing a whopping 57 minutes and 56 seconds, and also tied Brent Burns and Anthony Duclair for the game-high in shots with eight. Game two of this already classic series will take place on Saturday. 

In the Western Conference Final, game one between the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars will take place Friday. Betway has the Golden Knights as the -120 favorite to win. 

Jack Eichel will look to continue his strong play. In his first-ever playoffs, Eichel has scored 14 points in 11 games and is only behind Roope Hintz and Matthew Tkachuk for points among active players.

Hill has been sensational for the Knights these playoffs, posting otherworldly numbers and stealing game six to close out the Oilers, making 38 saves on 40 shots. Don’t expect him to be as busy in game one of this series. 

Dallas averaged only 23.6 shots on the road in their series against the Kraken and in the Golden Knights’ last series against the Oilers in three home games, their goalie made over 27.5 saves only one time. The numbers suggest taking the under tonight.
