The early favourite Geremia is well fancied following his long overdue success at Hamilton a month ago, and he looks likely to be thereabouts once again, despite being given a three-pound upward nudge.

The Ian Willams-trained Blow Your Horn also arrives with high hopes after landing a 14-furlong event at Doncaster last weekend, but it is one of the horses that finished behind him that day that has caught the attention of some of Tipstrr's each-way specialists, including Underdog Racing Tips.

Brian Ellison's Punxsutawney Phil gave an excellent account of himself to finish third, and the two-pound advantage he enjoys today could well be enough to help overturn the three-quarter-length deficit from that day.

That was by far the best of this six-year-old gelding's three outings this term, and significantly it was his first on the faster ground that he will face here, having struggled in his two runs on soft and heavy ground in April and May.

Dale Swift is in the saddle, and with 7-15 pounds less to carry than the market leaders, Punxsutawney Phil could well be in the mix in the closing stages, with extra value added for anyone who uses a bookie offering an extra each-way place.
