Big Ten Football: Ranking The Big Ten’s Football Slate for Week One

This week's Big Ten Football slate is not the prettiest, but football is back. The BigTen's football slate for week one is ranked from worst to first.

Minnesota plays New Mexico State at 8 PM on BTN. Minnesota lost to NewMexico State last year. The game is a revenge game for Jerry Kill.

Illinois State plays Wisconsin on Saturday at 6 pm on FS1. The game is not worth much attention.

Colorado State plays Michigan at 11 AM on ABC. Michigan is favored by 30.5 points. Colorado State doesn't have a starting quarterback.

Western Michigan plays Michigan State at 6 pm on ESPN. Michigan has a lot of new faces this year and should blow the doors off of the Broncos.

North Dakota plays Nebraska at 2:30 PM on BTN. Scott Frost is still a head coach.

Buffalo plays Maryland at 11 AM on BTN. I have no interest in this game.

South Dakota State is a sleeper in this game. Iowa is the favorite. The game starts at 11 AM on FS1.

Rutgers is a 7-point underdog in this game against Boston College.

Illinois plays Indiana on Saturday at 7 PM on FS1. Indiana is favored by 3. Illinois was bad last year, but I think Illinois will win.

Penn State plays Purdue at 7 PM on Fox. The game has the chance to make or break Purdue's season. Penn State lost to Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan last year.

Notre Dame and Ohio State are playing each other in the first game of the season. Notre Dame is ranked 5th and is playing at the horseshoe in primetime. Ohio is favored by 13.5 points.
