This week the DP World Tour heads to the Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Germany for the BMW International Open, where Tipstrr golf expert Martin Colwell has been looking for the best betting value.

A par 72 and 7,284 yards in length, the Eichenried course has generous fairways and Bentgrass greens that have produced low scoring in the past.

Looking at previous winners, accuracy off the tee and smart play around the green point us to what needs to be done to succeed.

Adrian Meronk is favourite going into the tournament at a readily available 14/1. The Polish star missed the cut last week in the U.S. Open and so would have returned to Europe on Saturday.

We were on him a few weeks back and he got off to a slow start, so at these odds I will leave him and see how he goes in round one.

Next best at 16/1 is Rasmus Hojgaard, who was held back by injury earlier this year but he says that he is now fit and well.

The Dane can be a little wayward off the tee and has been somewhat overshadowed by his twin Nikolai this year. He finished a decent third place a month ago at the Dutch Open, and he can contend again if he has control over his driver.

Yannik Paul has been in good form, coming close to winning on tour in recent months, and he will be keen to impress in his home country.

I think that the 20/1+ available this week is a fair price, and I can also see him hitting the ground running to make him good value in the first-round-leader market at around 40/1.

The rest of the field is 25/1+, which brings in Victor Perez, Antoine Rozner and Robert Macintyre. Of the three, I prefer Perez as he is the better ball striker, while Rozner likely has the best current form, but Robbie Mac needs to find his game again to contend.

Others to consider

Pablo Larrazabal is a two-time winner of this tournament, and the Spaniard did us a favour winning at 55/1 for us last month. Pablo is trying for a Ryder Cup Place and so the 30/1 available seems fair enough all things considered.

Planet Sport Bet:

Sean Crocker came back to form two weeks ago, shooting seven-under on the Sunday of the Scandinavian Mixed to come within three strokes of long-time leader Dale Whitnell.

Crocker is a long driver who looks a good fit for this course, and 50/1 each-way for the American looks very appealing.

Tom McKibbin achieved his maiden win on tour three weeks ago and has carried the burden of being from the same place as Rory McIlroy - Holywood, Northern Ireland. The twenty-year-old looks a top prospect and 45/1 is solid each-way value this week .

Last but not least is another promising youngster on tour in the shape of Dan Bradbury, who looks like he could develop into a major talent. He can be inconsistent but is a contender on tour when on his game and looks worth a go at 75/1 this week.

Sami Valimaki was runner-up here in 2022 and is currently playing a decent game without looking like winning at present. If the course revives his game, then 66/1 could look very tasty going into the weeknd.
