Rasmus Hojgaard is the defending champion at Crans-sur-Sierre. Mikko Korhonen is a Finnish journeyman.

The Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, Crins Montana, Switzerland is hosting the European Tour event. The prize money is €2m and the winner gets €340,000. There are 156 players in the field. Last year's winner was Rasmus Hojgaard. The last six European Masters have been won by Englishmen or Scandinavian. Sky Sports Golf will broadcast the event live from 12.30pm on Thursday.
